I left telecom after having problems with my connection, and being berated by their staff who seemed unable to explain to me the terms of their "fair use" policy. (which as far as i can understand, is "if you use your internet, then you're not allowed to use your internet."
In contrast, when i ring xnet it is FASTER to get put through to a knowledgeable tech than it is to talk to one of their salespeople! it seems they definitely care about their customers.
I've had no issues with my connection or billing, and the one time i had a problem (with the beta usage meter not functioning properly) i talked to a friendly man that knew his stuff, was quick to help out and easy to talk to. And he solved my problem.
