Why you should get it: Great game for Final Fantasy games such as myself. Great combat system with countless possible combinations. Filled with characters and monster we grew up loving from all over the franchise. Great adventure fill of laughter. Why you shouldn't get it: Story isn't on par to other Final Fantasy games. Maps, mostly dungeons, very plain layouts so not very fun to explore. Those 2 points plus the fact that the game is very long just makes it easy to lose interest.

With wonderful art, charming writing and phenomenal sound & music, World of Final Fantasy feels very much like the ‘Pokemon’ adventure consoles have lacked for so long. A highlight is the options and features which let the player control the pacing – meaning the game can remain an engaging experience for just about anyone. I really hope the developers are rewarded for their consideration, as this was easily the most fun I've had with a title this year.

I've been playing World of Final Fantasy Day One Edition on the PS4 for around a week now, have finally completed it and I'm making my way through the extra's as those who love the Final Fantasy series will know, there's always extras.

Story seems a little mediocre

World of Final Fantasy is the latest in the long-running series, it's more of a spin-off to be fair and has cameos of classic Final Fantasy characters including Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Squall, Lightning and others from games old and more recent.

The demo put me off wanting to get this game, but after watching some Twitch streams, I was sold. So many Final Fantasy in-jokes and nods to the history, a really deep core RPG system full of customization underneath the ‘cutesy’ appearance, fantastic soundtrack… Must have for any fans of Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. Kawaii/10

Neatly tucked in under the adorable Pop Figurine-inspired characters, and the blissful lands of World of Final Fantasy, is a true JRPG. Organizing my collection of Mirages that I have caught, cute little Pokemon-like monsters I collected to use in battle against other enemy Mirages.

Such a good game very old school way to play and you get to see some old charators from other FF games

Next year is the 30th anniversary of Square Enix's most well known series, Final Fantasy , and with that it is safe to assume plenty of celebratory events, games and merchandise will be pouring out from the Japanese company.
