I've been pushing this game off for a while but I have to say this game is great as well as aggravating at times when playing on the harder difficulties. The plot is great and the weapons and action is intense.

I honestly thought it was a great game in terms of excitement, plot and graphics. The guns were cool and the controls are intuitive for first person shooter veterans. The only thing I was disappointed was when they announced no multiplayer! Great buy nonetheless!

This is a series with some serious pedigree. While it may, at times, have disappeared amongst the throng of other first-person shooters out there (and there's plenty of them), Wolfenstein is the father of them all; the prototype laid down before id Software went on to blow us all away with Doom.

Really enjoyable game with a rich in depth plot, lots of rewarding things for people who want to find them! The characters are excellent and you'll find yourself get really immersed in this world and really invested in the characters.

I'd love to hold up Wolfenstein: The New Order as one of the best shooters of the past few years, not because it does anything overly new, but rather because it does the fundamentals so well. It tells a formidable and exciting story, helped by the intriguing nature of a Nazi-controlled 1960s world.

The New Order takes place largely in an alternate history 1960s, with the prologue being set in World War II. In the game's story, the Nazis win the war through advanced technology, and they rule the world as very mean men after that. They're super mean, those Nazis.
