Game Review: DiRT 4

DiRT Rally only released on consoles during April 2016 (December 2015 for PC), but while this was the return to form for the rally racing sim from Codemasters, fans of the more varied spin-off racing series still longed for the follow-up to 2011'S DiRT 3 (not including DiRT Showdown as that wasn't a...

Offering the choice of Sim and Arcade play-styles caters for all; Addictive "one more go" gameplay; Your Stage is potentially game changing; Good variety of modes adds much value; Lush visuals

Lobby hosts being able to change event discipline even towards event end; in otherwise smooth online experience

Dirt 4 PC Review

Codemasters' Dirt series was a sign that the British developer was looking to crack the world market by broadening the appeal of off-road racing. This was done by dropping the focus on rally and mixing in other off-road disciplines, such as trucks, buggies and gymkhana, an event that Ken Block has...

WipEout Omega Collection Review – Superb Controls Results in a Thrilling Experience

If ever there was a game to test your reflexes, aim, and driving skills, all compacted into one incredibly fast experience, WipEout has always been the challenge with which to measure yourself against.

Stellar Soundtrack; Excellent Controls; Gorgeous Graphics

No Customization; Unforgiving Higher Difficulty

Wipeout: Omega Collection review

Chris canes it down the virtual skyways of Wipeout Omega Collection, the likely apex of anti-gravity racing.

Exceptional 4K visuals; Thumping music; The best example of the genre at 60FPS

It is a remaster; so there is nothing new here for long time fans looking for something fresh

DiRT 4

When it comes to definitive rally driving, the DiRT series by Codemasters is the King of the Hill and has been around since 2007 ( Colin McRae: Dirt ). Sure the series has had its road bumps but the latest incarnation DiRT 4 offers something for both new and old fans.

Dirt 4 Review

It's perhaps symbolic that Codemasters has included Colin McRae's old co-driver in for the first time in one of its rally games since Colin McRae Rally 2005, because Dirt 4 very much feels like a return to the good old days of the series.

Another Stage Conquered

New iterations of a franchise always promise more than the last one, but it doesn't always net out to a better game. While Dirt 4 packs more features than 2015's Dirt Rally and previous numbered Dirt games, its victory as a racing title is not just about its features, but also how it executes them.

Wipeout: Omega Collection Review – A Flagship Victory Lap

A ball bounces. A pin drops. A man falls. Gravity was the glue that bound us to our planet, but in 1995 PlayStation applied the solvent that freed our species forever. The fresh, anti-grav racing of Wipeout turned a genre on its head, literally.
