I bought this to upgrade my old school 60GB PS3. I first thought the upgrade would be a headache, but it turned out to be unbelievably simple. The drive works great, and now I have 1TB of room to download and copy games to. I strongly recommend this drive for those who wish to upgrade their PS3.

I ordered a new 1Tb hard drive for my laptop. Crucial sent me a tracking number with my order confirmation. The HD arrived very quickly and was in great packaging to protect the product. I'll probably order from Crucial again.

Purchased this to replace factory hard drive in PS3. Took a few minutes to install, and I had a huge amount of space for game downloads, etc. Since PS4 is around the corner, and I don't know how long the PS3 will be supported, it's nice to know that I can always keep my purchases on the hard drive...

i was skeptical purchasing this based on the not so great reviews i saw, but the pc store i got it from did not have many others. under a load when converting a cd the hdd stopped working. my old one was put in and boots fine.

used the original HDD in my macbook pro for at least a few years for much longer than this WD HDD lasted me
