Have been using blue and green drives in a raid configuration for the last couple of years, wanted a large volume drive without having to worry about data loss if a drive in the raid crashed. Comparatively speed is sport car fast. Warranty is 5 years for drive I received. Money well spent.

Does what it says on the tin ... However, old Mac Pro users beware, these have a different screw config so the existing drive rails won't work. I had to purchase new drive rails and they're not cheap

This HDD is quieter compare to previous model and cost per giga-byte is not too bad.

As with the WD Black drives Ive used for years these run quiet, have no detectable heat issues, i.e., the fans in my external enclosures are not having to work any harder than they did with 4TB drives and the CAPACITY they afford is REALLY, REALLY phenomenal. They work beautifully!
