Western Digital Red WD60EFRX 6TB Hard Drive

While APH Networks is probably not the first -- or even the second, third, or fourth -- website to visit if you are looking for relationship advice, I think we had some great points posted in the opening of my Western Digital Red WD40EFRX 4TB review back in June 2014.

awesome!

excellent hard disk, stays on all the time and doesnt spin down, very quiet too, using it with a 256gb ssd and runs fine.

Big capacity, unsure on relability

Purchased two drives and added to my storage setup. First one has failed within 1 month, with the drive making clicking noises. Drives will fail I do understand that and in my experience WD has been the most reliable, so I'll keep buying them.

My first 6tb hdd seems pretty good.

I own a mac mini. I like to have 1 cloned back up drive and 1 time machine drive. If you use this for a time machine drive it will be able to do a lot of backups maybe more then 1 year.. Depends on how much you use the pc. Price was good it is fast enough to back stuff up.
