I Ordered Wrong and Adorama Fixed It

This is more about Adorama than the product. I ordered this Passport by mistake. I use Windows and didn't notice that this was for Mac.<br />I contacted Adorama and they immediately replaced it with the correct model. All it cost me for my mistake was $5.00 to ship it back.
Pros:
  • Convenient Interface
  • Fast
  • Reliable

Awesome little drive!

I have had this for a couple of months now and can't fault it. Its a small compact device but with 2TB, definately worth the price tag! Its sits nicely hidden behind my laptop and I can take it with me wherever I go if needed.

Very portable

Overall I'm very impressed with this product. It is very small so takes up hardly any space in my camera bag and transfer speeds are good. The bundled software isn't particularly good so I don't use it. The main issue I have with the product is that the casing scratches very easily.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
Cons:
  • Scratches Easily

Well-designed, capacious, and fast

The new My Passport Pro delivers in all most all categories for a portable storage device: It's capacious, fast, very convenient to use and quite affordable. While it's not the fastest and most compact drive I've seen, the combination of what it has to offer more than makes up for these minor...
Pros:
  • The WD My Passport Pro is fast, portable, and has some of the largest storage capacity you can find
  • It supports multiple RAID setups, has a well-designed built-in Thunderbolt cable, and is comparatively affordable
Cons:
  • The drive doesn't support USB nor does it have an extra Thunderbolt port.

My Passport Studio WDBAAE

Western Digital designed and preformats the My Passport Studio for use with Macs; however, it works well as a portable external storage solution for Windows and OS X, as long as USB 2.0 is your connection of choice.
Cons:
  • The My Passport Studio doesn't support USB 3.0 and its FireWire performance could be faster
  • Its backup software doesn't allow for much customization, and its cost per gigabyte is relatively high

Western Digital My Passport Pro: A hefty portable RAID

What's striking about Western Digital's My Passport Pro portable hard drive is its size and weight. The 4TB version I tested weighs 1.58 pounds, which is light when compared to your average five-pound clay brick.
