WD 2TB Passport
Excellent product, prices are coming down, fast transfer, I have purchased WD "Rugged Case" for 500gb drive and these larger drives fit when you snap out the removable retainer. I do not use the included software anymore, since it does some strange things.... advertised size is 2.048TB..
Pros:
- small fits into wd rugged case fast transfer
Cons:
- warranties could be longer than 1 year

Western Digital My Passport Essential SE 1TB Black Portable Hard Drive
Basic test of high quality of a quickly external drive;Touch an external drive with your hand, when the drive is "on" for about an hour. This drive as cold like a cucumber... do the same with a different manufacturer's drive. Be cautious! you could burn your hand.

Western Digital My Passport
Western Digital's My Passport is a portable hard drive that goes big on storage and slashes features back to the bare essentials. It packs oodles of capacity into it's compact, plasticky body, though, and its 2TB capacity providing 1.8TB of formatted space.

AC/DC Mm maybe not BUT
With the disk partitioned into 2 zones, one for Mac and one for windows it enables so many cross functional uses. 500 gig is more than most people will use and the only reason to go to 1 or2 TB would be for a serious professional.
Pros:
- Transportable
- Practicle
- Multi System Use
- Stylish

WD My Passport 2TB Review
At 2TB, WD's My Passport is the largest-capacity USB hard drive we've ever tested, and its four chunky 500GB platters rotate at 5,400rpm. In the palm it feels about as thick as a huge English muffin with a piece of ham in the middle, or a water-logged deck of cards; it's the thickest drive in this...
Pros:
- Huge capacity
- great speed
- full-featured software package
Cons:
- Backup software is not reliable or good for advanced users
- can't make backup images

Western Digital My Passport
Several other capacities are offered -- from 500 GB to 2 TB -- to accommodate those with different storage needs and/or different budgets. User reviews at Amazon.com are particularly enamored of the 2 TB configuration, which sells for around $150.
Pros:
- Smaller
- lighter than other portable drives
- USB 3.0 interface
- Good reliability
Cons:
- Not as fast as some USB 3.0 drives
- Glossy case shows fingerprints
- Windows-only backup software

Western Digital My Passport 2TB review
Speed and capacity are the two parameters used to gauge a portal hard drive. In most cases there is a tradeoff wherein either one of these would be weak in the HDD which consumers would need to accept but in case of the Western Digital My Passport 2TB portal HDD, with USB 3.0 connectivity and amp...

Western Digital My Passport Ultra review - good performance at a competitive price
The My Passport Ultra provides good performance at a competitive price The My Passport Ultra isn't designed specifically for the Mac, as some of WD's drives are, but it's a fast, affordable and compact portable hard drive that will make a good companion for your Mac or MacBook.
Pros:
- slim
- light portable USB 3.0 drive
- good value for money
- high performance for file back-ups
Cons:
- no Firewire or Thunderbolt interface
- plastic case isn't very rugged Requirements: Mac with USB 2.0 or 3.0

Ever Had a dream to buy an external HDD,, but confused that money will be wasted on non used product. Then go for this product. My passport is very good both for usb 2.0 and USB 3.0 transfer rates and very good latency and rpm. It also looks good and cheaper compared to other competitors..
