Excellent storage option
Western Digital has always made quality hard rives and storage devices, and this is yet another feather in their cap. It is ideal for any small business wanting a reliable and inexpensive option for storage.

"Shucked" the internal white label drive out of the enclosure easily enough. Using the drive in a mirror array.

Lasted seven and a half years
I bought this drive back in 2011 and it lasted until a couple of weeks ago. I have used it in various ways primarily for backups, using Windows backup for awhile to do image backups, and then moving to Crashplan local until they ended their free home license.

BEST IN CLASS
Good and fast work. but never place it vertically. Always put it on its side when it works. If it suddenly falls to the side you will lose your data !!
Pros:
- This hard drive WD but inside plastic box HITACHI
- however it have good speed and it reliable hard drive
- We recommend this brand and we use it in our business
Cons:
- bad design
- Old "my book" style i like better

BUY Western Digital My Book 6tb
Thank you littlewoods the order was processed very quick and delivered in one day and once i had opened up the package and read the instructions and the website leading to software for the Western drive to download directly to my computer.

Huge amounts of storage
The My Book offers huge amounts of storage. I purchased to provide a simple backup drive for my home computer - it's unobtrusive and simple to set up.

Great improvement over older version/model
Great - has a metal cradle which attaches it to the back of the TV out of the way Also has no addition power adaptor (like in the older model) as it gets its power from the TVs USB powered slot - therefore it has just the 1 cable to connect into the tv
