I was looking to upgrade from two maxed out 2TB WD Red NAS drives and was looking for a good 6TB replacement. I opted to try the Seagate Ironwolf 6TB as the rest of my external drives are Seagate and have never had any issues. And now I understand why the WD Reds have a slightly higher cost..

This HDD delivers. Great for storing archive videos, or things in general. Runs at a decent speed. Great Value.

I have 8 of these drives in a RAID 5 configuration for the last two years. I have not had any problems or issues. They are fast, reliable, and quite. In the future I will be buying 8 more for another system.

The Red 6TB is the latest and highest-capacity NAS hard disk from Western Digital, a company with much experience in making hard disks specifically designed for NAS devices. Indeed, it's easily the highest capacity internal hard disk we've yet seen.

The drive has 3 year warranty. After 2 years of little use in a NAS the drive failed with bad sectors. I now wish to return the drive after it failed the WD diagnostic check. Western Digital does not provide Warranty Service for OEM Products like this!

Awesome product i have a bunch of WD Red drives over the years, and have been great for log term storage. I usually transfer files using a HD toaster.

Purchased two drives and added to my storage setup. First one has failed within 1 month, with the drive making clicking noises. Drives will fail I do understand that and in my experience WD has been the most reliable, so I'll keep buying them.

WAY TO GO NEWEGG on the packaging of these hard drives! Each drive came in their own hard drive air bag and box that were air bagged inside another larger box. They arrived in perfect shape ;-) Much better packaging than I have seen in the past. KUDOS NEWEGG!

Large capacity, cool and quiet; No problems or bad sectors when installed in my Synology with any of the 5 drives; All drives passed with flying colors; I bought 5 2TB drives of the WD Red line 3 years ago and all of the drives are still going strong and hope the same for these

None really just wish they carried a 5 year warranty for the price; Not the fastest NAS either but are perfect for backing up my other NAS which has the faster enterprise drives

Bought two of them and put into Synonlogy NAS drive and they work just fine.
