It's a Western Digital drive, for me that says all

-Can be a bit noisy but most 7200rpm disks are. Depending on computer cases it might not be noticable.

-Plugged in; partitioned and has been working flawlessly for a couple months

-None

Good drisk drive for many read/writes.

Good product easy to install and very dependable compared to the black drives. Western Digital is currently making the best quality drives.

Great long term storage, if a bit loud.

This is a great drive with fantastic read and write speeds. Although it is a bit loud when reading data to it but this drive is designed to be used and abused in enterprise servers so I knew what I was getting into here.

Great drives for the price and capacity.

I installed 6 of these 4TB WD Red Pro HDDs into a NAS (RAID 5) and they work great. They come without screws for mounting so you will need to have some 6-32 x 1/4 screws with a flat head that will sit flush with the mounting tray. Great HDDs. I have much less trouble out of WD drives than Seagate.

A hard drive to be trusted

I have used WD Red Pro drives in my Synology 1513+ NAS for almost 2 years. No errors! I trust the Pro series.

Great - provided it lives up to WD's claims

I bought this drive to replace a failed HDD which on investigation did not have a good reliability record. WD offer a 5 year warrantee and claim this drive has a workload rating up to 550TB per year (among the highest of any 3.5-inch hard drive) with up to 2.5 million hours MTBF.

WD Gold Edition Enterprise 4TB 3.5 inch HDD, 128MB Cache ,7200 RPM SATA3 Hard Drive , Durable capacity storage for high-availability deployments. Designed for a multitude of Datacenter-specific applications , 5 Years warranty

So far: Solid, fast. Downside: they're a bit loud. Being designed for datacenter use, they're optimised for speed not noise levels - so if you use it in a desktop you'll likely notice the noise when it's seeking.
