You know what they say, you get what you pay for. This drive is a very quite drive, if you have no sound proof in your system case this will be a good drive. Even though it's mechanical it's a quite drive, worth the cost.

Easy to install in NAS and works great. Great experience with BHPhoto. Only problem is with Western Digital over the warranty length, after registering the drives on their site, have had to open a ticket to get them to show 5 year warranty from date of purchase, probably going to ultimately require...
