This is a great product.
I use this product mainly to backup my laptop. I love the features that come with it. It is very easi to use. There's not really anything bad about it.

Great Product for backup
I needed a larger backup hard drive. The My Book Essential meets my needs perfectly. I had already been using my own backup software so did not need the software that came with the My Book.

WD My Book Essential 1TB USB 3.0 External HD Review.
Seems very easy to set up - It automatically loads drivers and software in about 20 seconds per machine - I installed on 3 laptops and 2 desktops no problems. Thereafter works well so far for large back ups and is particularly fast if you've got a computer with a 3.0 USB port.

Excellent product
I bought this product during Christmas and found it is very useful. Besides it is tiny slim design, its performance exceeded my expection as well. Highly recommended.

Excellent Hard Drive
Initially when I tried to install this HD to my computer it kept asking me for the program disc which was never included in the box I started to somewhat "freak out". But I soon found out that in the back of the HD there is an "ON" button (which I didn't notice) and the HD installed on its own.

Happy with this so far
This is just what I needed to back up my files. It works well and is small enough that I don't mind carrying it around if I have to. I would recommend this to people who want a safe and easy way to back up their files!

Fantastic!
This is a fantastic little product. Its lightweight and very portable so i have been able to use it at home and at work. Fantastic value for money too!

This a great product. very fast and just love it. the size is so big you'll never run out of space. I was able to d/l everything I had and only use 600 mb great I have a lot of space left and will be using this for many years without worrying about running out of space.
