Could have been great!

This game should have been one of the top 5 games to come out this year. It had almost everything right in single player and gave the player a really good feel for the 40k Universe. I gave this game a low score only due to the huge short comings in the multi-player part of the game.

Single Player campaign; Pretty compelling story that keeps you interested; Multi-Player classes are well balanced; Weapons/Armour unlocks and challenges are obtainable and give you something to play for; The customization available is great! Almost limitless possibilities.

Campaign could have been longer; If you are a fan of the 40k Universe some parts of the game (don't want to give it away and has no real bearing on the game) don't really gell at times; The big problem is the peer to peer system that THQ and Relic have chosen to use.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Review

Space Marine puts you into the power armor of Captain Titus of the Ultramarines, called to the Forge World Graia with two of his battle brothers to delay and destroy an invading horde of Orks until the Imperium's Liberation fleet can arrive and wipe the xenos from the planet.

The Assault Jetpack; World is Greatly Realized from Source Material; Strong Start and First Half; Surprisingly Enjoyable Multiplayer

Campaign Has a Lot of Filler; Combat Balance Doesn't Hold-Up; Encounters and Environments Get Repetitive

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine

Warhammer fan or not, if you enjoy third person action games, you are bound to like Space Marine. There's a lot Relic can do with this franchise in third person, so here's to the start of an exciting new franchise.

Space Marine Xbox 360 Review

To virgin eyes, Space Marine must look like a very generic sci-fi adventure game. A lone space marine – whose job is literally titled ‘Space Marine' – spearheads an attack against an invading alien horde, purging the beleaguered planet with guns and grenades and a roaring chainsaw. It is Doom .

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (PS3) Review

The Warhammer table top series has been with us for quite some time now. The practice of painting up your soldiers and sending them into battle is not something I've ever tried, although I do know several people who are into it.

Ork Sausages

In the year 40,000, mankind's empire stretches across known space. Countless worlds, we are told, have come under the emperor's protection, and presumably the vast majority of them are doing perfectly well, thank you very much.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine review

If like me you were hunched over tiny figures, giving them life through detailed painting and imaginative table play at the teenager's sweet haven ‘Games Workshop', then you have been patiently waiting.

Entertaining; attractive and downright bloody

Pacing problems; a little easy; flawed ‘special moves'
