"Step towards the right direction"

Wwe 2k16 has everything that wwe 2k15 was lacking. From better roster and more fluid gameplay wwe 2k16 is heading towards a much better future.

"A light in the end of the tunnel."

After a huge fail and completely disappointing WWE 2K15, 2K seems to have finally found a way to at least produce a decent game. But as a WWE fan who has been playing the game for a long time, we can't really have our hopes high, (even this being a really great game) , WWE franchise is all about ups...

Create a superstar is back; new reversal system; career mode upgraded

The commentators still boring; it's too hard to find an opponent online; servers still bad

WWE 2K16 PS4 Review

Why is it that it takes a load of games in a franchise before the developer comes up with a simple and sensible idea that will forever change the way that a game in that series is played?

Last year marked the first year when a WWE game made its way to "next" gen consoles and to say the least, it wasn't a good first impression . I gave 2K credit for what they did accomplish and I understand it's tough when you are making a yearly franchise, but at the same time, the game was a massive...

WWE 2K16 review

So while a marked improvement on recent years, does 2K16 offer enough to push the genre back into the mainstream? On balance, probably not. WWE's popularity is at an all-time low and it will take a more polished release with fewer eccentricities to lure those who have no interest in its real-life...

WWE 2K16 Review

WWE 2K15 was, for all intents and purposes, a year of growing pains. The series needed to evolve graphically for its debut on new-gen consoles, but its massive overhaul of the engine meant that content suffered, with a lack of creation modes and a thin roster that could barely hold the game...

New limited reversal system; Better pin system and working holds; Fuller roster; Better graphics and character modeling; More creation modes

Fuller roster; Tags

WWE 2K16

With a huge (and mostly up-to-date) roster, a Stone Cold-obsessed Showcase mode and a fine-tuned MyCareer, the WWE 2K series finally delivers the best wrestling game since Here Comes The Pain.

MyCareer is better than ever; Huge roster will appeal to all; Wrestlers now sweat - just like the real thing

Showcase mode gets old; fast; Inconsistent presentation; No Bayley; Becky; Charlotte or The Boss - boo

Better than expected

Overall good gameplay, was more impressed with the improved menu interface, which makes it easier when playing with 4+ players. Ratings are a bit dodgy and need revising.

I feel like the wrestling video games from the 90s were better

Very basic game. I feel like the wrestling video games from the 90s were better. FAR better than WWE 2k15 tho.
