GREAT! Road to Wrestlemania

My review of this game is that the story mode is the last of the road to wrestlemania. The story mode is great storylines including the kings of kings triple H, the villian sheamus and for the first ever time create ur superstars and live the hero storyline in the making.

WWE 12 Review

The WWE (Formally WWF) has been popular worldwide for around thirty years and in this time we have seen numerous video games based upon our favourite real life grappling stars. Mostly the games have been pretty decent although there has been a couple of duffers thrown in to the mix.

27th November 2011 - Can you smell what THQ is cooking? That's right; another year, another wrestling title, with more eager little Jimmy's rushing out in hopes of finally having something that tops No Mercy.

WWE '12 User Review

I've been a diehard professional wrestling fan for about 3-4 years now, and I own just about every wrestling game of this generation. This past Christmas though, I decided to buy Skyrim over WWE '12.

WWE '12

A couple of years ago, we were fortunate enough to fly to Tokyo to meet up with Taku Chihaya, the vice president and senior creative director of developer Yuke's. We chatted for ages (via translator, of course), asked all the usual questions and then, once the tape had stopped rolling, made the...

WWE 12 Review

After the explosive cartoon stylings of THQ's WWE All Stars, it's back to business as usual over at Yukes - the business of trying to create a very serious video game rendition of the very un serious non-sport of pro wrestling.

Excellent broadcast-style presentation; Impressive character models and fluid animation; Immersive WWE Universe modes

Annoying AI opponents; Dreary story mode; Frustrating controls

WWE 12

Professional wrestling has some of the craziest fans. The WWE made an effort to be more family friendly. What about their video games? I took WWE 12 for a spin around the squared circle to see. As you can see from my score WWE 12 is an abysmal failure. Why though?

WWE 12 takes wrestling games into a bit of a different direction. THQ did not only change the name from Smackdown vs Raw series to WWE 12 but they've also tweaked the formula. Most notably is a slight imrprovement in graphics, one of the largest rosters ever seen in a WWE game, with a few updated...

WWE '12

The WWE has fundamentally changed several times in its lifespan. From classic WWF, to the "Attitude Era" of The Rock and Stone Cold, to a more family friendly approach of late. Similarly, the games associated with the federation have changed equally. Starting with the WWF games on N64, to Smackdown!
