" WET " had a lot of promise. Whilst its bewildering multiplayer got canned apparently quite late into the day, there is still, at times, a strong single player experience to be had. The story is good, and Rubi is an excellent lead character.

It's Like… …an Americanized version of John Woo's Stranglehold if Chow Yun Fat was a hot white chick overflowing with Tarantino-esque B-movie sensibilities. In this incredibly over the top action fiasco you play Rubi, a sassy pistol toting, sword fighting, hard drinking mercenary who hires herself...
WET. If this game was ranked solely on the basis of the amount of people you kill, I have no doubt it would receive a perfect score. Sadly, as is custom for reviews, that is not the case...which really doesn't leave much else for me to talk about.
Nice overall theme that was stuck with throughout the game
Graphics are really outdated; not very depth; aiming redicule too tiny
If you enjoy any movie that the great Quentin Tarantino has made, you will love this game. Its ridiculousness is what makes it great. Very violent, and at times hard to believe, but like Kill Bill, it was what made the game beautiful.
Wet for Xbox 360 is a fun new kind of shooter in my opinion. The unique aerobatic style brings a lot of entertainment to the game. Being able to shoot while sliding across the floor, running across the wall, and basically anytime you want no matter what move you are doing I think is great.
fun game play; great new features; great sound and music
repetitive; easy ending
Bought this game after having tried the demo from xbox live silver. it's a fun game, with pretty interesting characters. more so, you have to find little toy monkeys in each level, which adds a sense of humor to the game outside the dialogue.
Perhaps unfortunately for this game, I have just finished Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (gaining every Achievement) which, on the surface is a similar game to WET. However, PoP has charisma and a sense of occasion - both of which are important for video games.
I downloaded the demo and loved the John Woo style action. The acrobatics and gun & Sword play were a nice feature. Rubi obviously has a problem with doors as she's always cussing at them as she tries to open them. This is definitely not your kids' game. I love the in-game video clips too.
John Woo action; In-Game upgrades; Most everything is interactive
Using alcohol to refuel my life bar is kinda the opposite of what I would really use; Sometimes she is in the elevator waiting for way too long
Just when you thought the third-person action/shooter genre was running thin on style, Wet has come along and shaken things up for the better. While the game may have quietly snuck up on many gamers' radar, it's poised to become a game to remember in 2009.
