I bought this game because I had the previous one which was virtua tennis 3. I loved it so I bought this one but it was almost the same game. The graphics looked very similar and the only upgraded feature was the 3D which you need a 3D tv and glasses.

A good game, with some advantages against the previous versions. Animation. The gameplay have some problems with stuck sometimes, it's annouying, but the game deserve a 4 stars, I think.

It's the Tetris problem. Occasionally a game maker happens upon a flawless recipe on the first attempt, a kind of perfection that would be compromised if any of the ingredients were added to or taken away from.

The king of Tennis games is back! Virtua Tennis 4 shoots out of the serve machine with a huge swinging kick! Sega have once again shown the world how to make tennis games right and boy did they do it again this time!

Having played Virtua Tennis 3, 2009 and Top Spin 4, I have to say Virtua Tennis 4 is by far the best of the bunch. The World Tour only needs a slight tweak to make it perfect, maybe the inclusion of a slower build up over 5 years would be better rather than aiming for everything over one tour but...

Sporting pinpoint 1:1 control, 'Virtua Tennis 4' hits the courts in great shape. Renewed with vigour and a few new tricks, we'll see if #4 is a contender or just a first-round knockout.

With some good gameplay additions and a new twist on the career mode, Virtua Tennis 4 still manages to play a great game of arcade tennis.
