For the first 7-8 weeks, the wine cabinet was perfect and gave off absolutely no noticeable noise. However, since then it now emits noisy vibrations every time the compressor works to maintain the temperature. I have moved the fridge on to a soft rug, re-levelled it and restacked the wine, but all to no avail. The next action will be to move it out of the living room and downstairs, so I can't hear it.

The Vintec Wine storage Cabinet does what it was purchased for. I am glad to have it BUT unfortunately its motor is LOUD and detracts from the product

My only concern is the flimsy lock. It would be better if it locked top and bottom

The Vintec cabinet meets my needs admirably. I live in an apartment and the bulk of my wines, many of which are well in excess of ten years old, are stored with a commercial wine cellaring company. Such aged wines must be handled and stored correctly between removal from the ideal conditions provided by the cellaring company and consumption. The Vintec cabinet fulfills this need. My only criticism is that the vertical spacing between some shelves in the cabinet is inadequate for some bottles - Burgundy style bottles typically - and the balance between Bordeaux & Burgundy bottles to be stored does not always comply with the shelving capacity.

Inconsistent temperature as per digital reading. Set it at 14 degrees but temp bounces around from 12 to 15. Motor runs excessively and relatively noisy. How much power is it consuming????? Not very happy. Design needs rethink. Do you have a similar fridge that performs properly? Choice magazine very critical too of the successor to this model.

This is my second Vintec cabinet. I am very happy with original Vintec (the original is about 6 years old and going strong), so I didn't think twice when it came to buying my second one for our new home in the Southern Highlands. I'd certainly recommend this cabinet to anyone wanting an under bench unit to store (and serve) their wine collection.

The 50 bottle cabinet certainly keeps the wine in great condition. It's stylish and looks good under the kitchen cabinets. I also store chocolate in the Vintec as it's not as cold as a fridge and keeps the choco better. I do have difficulty storing some bottles that are just a bit fatter than the shelves allow.
