Described as a TV monitor combo when I purchased hit .However you have to buy an expensive adapter to hook up cable or DVD player. Deceptive. :-(

ViewSonic VX2250WM-LED
Viewsonic screens are relatively an unknown subject for me. This is why, as we don't have too much access at these screens, every time we am asked to review such a monitor, we can not refuse. Take, for instance, ViewSonic VX2250WM-LED: it is one of the newest monitors released on the market.

Lovely monitor
No dead pixels No defects after 1 year of heavy use Great colour and clarity Light weight Looks good Overall - no complaints.

Not bad
I picked this up at a pawn shop for $95. I highly recommend it if you can pick it up on sale and you're looking for a deal. For $160 (current Newegg price after discount) I would probably go with something else.
Pros:
- Great colors, crisp, thin
- Very bright for sunny rooms
- Nice and straight forward OSD
Cons:
- I know not to expect much from built-in speakers but it's like they actually took the speakers out of a PSP and built them into the back of the monitor facing straight backwards
- They're beyond horrible
- The dynamic contrast isn't that great.

I so love this monitor. It's crystal clear brilliant color, and I love the speakers on it. No more plugging in loose speakers that slways fall off your desk. I would definately buy a 2nd.

so ,big!!!!!
just bought this for christmas. installed with a few minor problems-driver didn't automatically install-but figured it out anyways. love the clarity and bigness of it. think it is a great deal and so far just loving it!!!!!!!!!!

While this is a budget product it contains certain features that are typically found on higher end products. Budget ? Viewable Size: 21.5 in ? 1920 x 1080 ? Response Time: 5 ms ? DVI-D ? VGA ? 10000000:1 ? Power Consumption: 25 W ? Weight: 8.6 lbs.

I purchased this product to replace a seven year old 14" LCD television that i use on my kitchen countertop. Not only does this up-size my screen size significantly, but it still--just barely--fits between the counter and the upper cabinets while on its standard tabletop pedestal.

Stay away from this monitor
I tried 2 of these VX2250wm monitors and both were fuzzy and had slight discolorations. They both had phase, frequency and size problems. The auto-adjust doesn't clear up the screen image. All of its screen resolutions are blurry.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Blurry
- discolorations
- white light around screen edges
