Verbatim Store'n'Go Executive Metal 8 GB

Verbatim packs the Executive Metal flash drive in a fancy dark grey metal shell, promises great read and write performance and offers up to 64 GB of capacity. We take a close look at this weighty flash drive to see if the brains equals the brawns of the storage device.

Metal casing; Retractable USB connector; Fairly sturdy; Very good read speeds - as advertised; Available with up to 64 GB capacity

Write speed horribly slow - nowhere near what is promised; Somewhat bulky; There are more durable sticks out there; Other sticks are cheaper and faster

Verbatim Store 'n' Go Car Audio USB Drive

Does your car stereo or home sound system have a USB port? Chances are it does, even if you haven't noticed it. The majority of stereos on the market do, so you can more easily enjoy songs from your digital music library.

Low-profile design; Lots of storage for intended use; Peppy read and write speeds

Easy to lose; Can be difficult to remove

So far so good

I'm using it to play music stored on my computer in my car's USB jack. It works well. I can store alot of songs on it and it has a very small profile in my dashboard.

Small size; Adaptable

None so far

it is so small outside of the converter and seems more like a part of the laptop

I got this to use between my tablet and laptop. It is two pieces the down converter to micro USB with a Standard USB thumb drive dongle. When plugged into the laptop you almost lose track of it...it is so small outside of the converter and seems more like a part of the laptop.

Avoid the Verbatim 32 gig USB sticks

After having purchased and used sucessfully about five of the 16 gig Verbatim Store "N" Go brand USB sticks I moved up to the 32 gig size. After purchasing two at the same time and using them for about 3 or 4 months of use (and used about 19.5 gig of capacity each time) each flash drive became...

large capacity; relatively in-expensive

becomes write-protected and data unavailable

terrible

The retraction portion of the flash drive is so flimsy that it retracts itself when you try to plug it in. Not handy. You have to jam something in behind the slider so it doesn't close.

Very good

I bought this pen drive, for being small and provide reasonable capacity for my needs. I really liked and really does its job. It is waterproof. Fast delivery by Amazon.

This OTG pendrive is very compact and has superb looks. Simple yet elegant design. Metallic body gets warm but not hot. Pros 1. This is one of the few USB 3.0 OTG pen drives available in the market right now. 2. Micro USB pin fits tightly in to my devices. 3. Good quality 4. Lanyard cable provided.
