The tilt and pan work very smoothly, no backlash, no sticking and the tripod is quite stable except when I accidentally kick it (I have to stop doing that). I use it with a camcorder so I am always panning and tilting and it is just as good as my old Velbon tripod.

Great value for money video tripod. Considering the (rhymes with bamfrotto) equivalent is around R5000, this does the job well.

I use this for filming with my DSLR. It holds the camera very well, I've used a Canon 5D with this tripod, which is a fairly heavy camera and this tripod holds it well. I love the smoothness of the pans and tilts, for the price, it's a great product.
