Urbanears Plattan 2

For $50, the Urbanears Plattan 2 headphones strike an ideal balance between audio performance and style. Throw in the detachable cable, and you've got yourself a solid deal. In this price range, we are also fans of the Klipsch Reference R6i On-Ear and the Shure SRH145m+ . The Coloud No.

Stylish Scandinavian design; Detachable cable; Can be linked to another pair for shared listening

Light on accessories; Limited remote control

We all have a preference on how we listen to audio–music, podcasts, videos, or online meetings–our global society is never far away from a pair of headphones or earbuds. Choosing the right pair, however, can be a daunting experience.

Superb sound and comfort

These are excellent, bought them as a replacement for my Sony MDR ZX310s - they sound so much better and so much more comfortable on the ears. Nice deep bass and crisp treble, means I'm not having to crank up the volume to hear detail.

Urbanears Plattan 2 review: Comfortable on-ear headphones with good sound, good price

Our musical tastes don't often fit just one category, and thankfully the way we listen to music doesn't have to conform all to one type or style. Most audio sources do still have 3.5mm audio ports, so there are thankfully still companies making wired headphones.

UrbanEars Plattan 2 Bluetooth headphones

Although there's a lot to like about the newly released wireless version of UrbanEars flagship headphones, the Plattan 2 Bluetooth are ultimately let down by some spotty wireless connectivity that is particularly problematic on busy streets.

Well-designed controls; Exceptional battery life; Good sound

Below average wireless performance; Slight lack of sound detail; Occasionally cramped soundstage

Urbanears Plattan 2 Bluetooth

Solid design and great battery life, but you can get better sound at the price.

Smart; simple looks; Comfortable for an on-ear pair; Great battery life; Easy-going tone

The best rivals offer better sound; No cable included

Easy to set up and go!

These headphone's were really easy to set up. One press of a button and they easily sync with your mp3 player/phone/tablet. The sound quality is good and they are comfortable and stylish to wear. Everything is controlled with one button so they are really easy to use.

Cool design

I bought these for the reviews and the style and they didn't disappoint. They produced a crisp sound with a snug fit with a cool fabric style that wasn't covered obscured by labels. However, I couldn't pair them to my device. I'm certain that this problem was unique to the item that I received.

Not the best!

I've been using this for awhile now. Paring it with my phone was extra "it took time and patience" then switching it off is same extra energy " it's not a soft touch". At first I thought it didn't have wired port but I noticed it has one but no wired cable came with, so that's another extra cash to...
