The look of Urbanear's Plattan ADV headphones is stylish and simple—aside from a tiny label along the headband, all you see is color and texture. The sound delivered is impressive given the affordable $59 price, but the headphones aren't flawless—cable thump will be an issue for users who plan on listening while running. For the more stationary lifestyle, the Plattan ADV delivers rich, unexaggerated bass response and balances it out with a clean focus on the high-mids.  DesignOffered in a plethora of color options—ten shades in all, from black to white and moss to mulberry, the Plattan ADV has a decidedly matte look.
