To be honest, it's an easy recommendation for any gamer. First and foremost has to be the new Sony converts. If you didn't have a PS3 last-gen, or simply missed out on the series (you can't play everything) and now have a PS4, this is an essential purchase.

The wave of new editions of classic games from the last generation of consoles hasn't finished washing over us yet. But with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection there is at least a collection of games that quite a lot of you are likely to want.

Uncharted is a series that has graced the PlayStation platforms since 2007. Developer Naughty Dog, who was well known for the Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Dexter games, took a chance with a new IP and never looked back, as Uncharted became a hit.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune released on the PS3 in 2007. It was the first game in my mind to truly combine realistic visuals and storytelling with incredible action based gameplay to create an incredible gaming experience like none before it.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is a great bundle that signifies the end of the transition between console generations, as the PS3 has handed over its biggest assets to PS4.
