It's been a long time since I played a Street Fighter with any real level of skill. I used to be a fair hand when the original SFII came out and I stuck with it until about Alpha , but staying genuinely good at fighting games takes a lot of time and effort, and I just couldn't keep up.

This game is just as fun as I remembered it back in the days of elementary school. They did a great job of recreating this classic fighting game with this newest edition of SF IV.

For the money, the fightpad is a great little pad and does the job quite well for fighting games (you can use it for more than just Street Fighter). It has an enlarged D-PAD and makes it very easy to perform moves.

Was able to get this with a bundle deal with the Fight Stick... for the value (both under $30) it is very much worth it if you have/know someone who is into the Street Fighter series.

Recently I received an e-mail from the editorial team asking for someone to review Ultra Street Fighter IV (USFIV) and I couldn't help but illicit a mental groan with the thought of "Another version? Milking the cow much?

Street Fighter IV combines old and new in powerful ways, resulting in a game familiar enough to bring retired fans back into the fold while being different enough to appeal to the players who have stuck with the genre since day one.

Unlike the PC version, this is great, good update with most things sorted now. They just need to balance the bottom characters some more, even after this Omega patch.

The five "new" fighters could be really new instead of more or less recycled stuff ... on the other hand i'm glad that all costumes are available for all characters for free, the game is very well balanced as usual and overall this is a good purchase if you're a Street Fighter fanatic.

Capcom's final update of Street Fighter IV is released in stores, instead of just as a downloadable add-on – in what may be the best value game of the year.

The same Street Fighter IV magic as always, and as minor as the Ultra changes and extras seem they're all for the better; Apart from maybe Hugo all of the new characters are worthy additions

There's an underlying laziness in the choice of new characters for the Ultra content; Single-player modes still need improvement
