Ultimate Ears recently released a new product on the market, the UE Blast Bluetooth wireless speaker . But this isn't your ordinary Bluetooth and wireless speaker; it features voice control and delivers innovative ways of listening to your favourite tunes.

The Ultimate Ears Megablast and Blast have taken things up a notch from the previous generation of Megaboom and Boom products. They have been reengineered with custom drivers and pack in more powerful mid-range output and even deeper bass.

Charge port hard to get to on the base

Given to my partner as his birthday gift and he loves it especially the built in Alexa. Only downside is that you need to shout if the music is loud for "Alexa" to listen as the microphone is not the most optimal. The sound is amazing of course and love the purchase :)

The sound quality/battery is great. The software can be buggy and frustrating at times.

We came in expecting to be impressed by the Blast, and that's what happened. Aside from a few Alexa-related hiccups, the speaker performed wonderfully, filling rooms with sound clearly and effortlessly. It's not the best smart speaker we've ever used, but it looks awesome and sounds even better.

This speaker has ridiculously clear quality even when turned up as loud as it goes (I wouldnt advise turning it all the way up because you can hear it from two blocks away)

Ultimate Ears announced two new speakers last month, the BLAST and MEGABLAST. These are kind of replacements for the BOOM 2 and MEGABOOM Bluetooth speakers, but not really. You see, these two are part of a new lineup, hence the changed names.

Ordered from UK. Easy to get started and the USB charger had contact for both the UK and the rest of Europe. However, the grade is drawn down markedly by the small sound. The JBL Charge 3 has significantly fuller bass and cleaner sound. Wasted money.
