The speaker it's just amazing clear sound and so handle to carry everywhere. The online service it's so efficient, I'm living in a remote area in Kimberly and in just 11 days I got.

For its size its got great volume, good bass and would highly recommend buying one! Also the 'stone' colour looks very classy.

The UE Boom has been a mainstay at the top of CNET's best portable Bluetooth speakers list the past couple of years, so we were very curious to see what UE (Ultimate Ears) had in store for its successor, the UE Boom 2, which retails for $200 (£170; AU$250).

Somewhat pricey

The UE BOOM 2 is Jeff's daily driver as far as Bluetooth speakers go. He actually used the UE BOOM before that. Safe to say he (and we) like the BOOM series. In terms of changes, the BOOM 2 has added gesture controls-so now you can tap to pause, double-tap to skip tracks, etc.

Ultimate Ears' line of BOOM speakers recently got updated with the arrival of the BOOM 2 speaker. The BOOM 2 shares the same footprint as the original BOOM, but has been updated with a few nifty features. Among these is wake-by-bluetooth and stop/start/pause slapping capability.

Despite these niggles, the UE Boom 2 is a decent Bluetooth speaker, with plenty of things to recommend it. It's tough, looks great, goes very loud and, for casual listening, the sound quality is fine. The speaker is packed with features, too.

This little speaker is Big on sound! Very easy to use and have quality sound, no crackle or popping noise, just clear sound!

I bought myself a UE speaker about a year ago, but my daughter likes it so much, we keep fighting over it! Shell be super excited when she opens her Christmas gift this year, and Ill finally reclaim my speaker. Win Win.
