How the mighty have fallen.

I came into this game with incredibly high hopes, that was my first problem. This game was one of the biggest let downs I've ever had, the campaign is boring, unfair and might I say sloppy. Multiplayer is massively unbalanced and I just can't seem to have fun at all with this game.

Great value

Got this on sale when it was only $10. Great value, great game, fast shipping. Online code, starhawk code, and Twisted Metal Black code is all there as advertised and working fine.

Twisted Metal

game on the PSOne. The reason it's worrying is because that happened seventeen years ago, and is proof positive that I am not getting any younger.

Twisted Metal Review

Considering I've been gaming for over thirty years, I'm a little embarrassed to admit the latest incarnation of the Twisted Metal franchise is my first blood-soaked taste of carmageddon, and yep I'll admit it, I‘ve been missing out.

28th February 2012 - Back in 1995, David Jaffe made a game called Twisted Metal on the original Playstation, the first game of its kind revolving around cars blowing each other to pieces.

Twisted Metal Review

Twisted Metal delivers if you want utter mayhem in the online arena. The weapons are destructive and the track design is suburb. It's more suited to series' veterans, however, as gamers are thrown straight into the deep end.

Twisted Metal Review (PS3)

I have fond memories of the original Twisted Metal on PSone. It was a smack talking couch combat regular with friends. The game play was basic but fast paced and exciting. Purely named ‘Twisted Metal' is the first iteration for the series on current generation consoles.

Twisted Metal (PS3)

Career missions are interspersed with boss battles, each more overwhelming than the last. While they're certainly engrossing, I experienced major technical issues, with the camera going haywire until I killed myself, in the second boss battle.

Looks great; Easy controls; Vehicles are well balanced; Crazy, adrenaline-pumping fun

Lock-on system can be annoying; Occasional camera bugs; Races are way too chaotic

Does it in anyway match the expectations set in front of it? No, but after such a wait for a sequel it was never going to fully satisfy its patient and forgiving fan base. Yet is it an enjoyable, if not entirely functional, and enjoyable game? Certainly, its Twisted Metal after all.

Fast & Furious

Twisted Metal is Fast. Real fast. If you just jump in the multiplayer right away you will get obliterated. I suggest play a few offline modes to get the controls down then once mastered go ahead and take the fight to others.
