This product SUCKS BIG TIME I purchased one, downloaded 3 years of work in it and tons of family pictures and files only to find out 3 weeks later that the product was defective and I can't get my files and pictures back.

Reliability is supposed to be a major selling point of this drive what with its MIL-STD-810F compliant shock resistance; But that won't do a bit of good for when the drive itself, the suspect SAMSUNG Spinpoint M8 ST1000LM024, fails due to poor design

I bought this to backup my photos and videos when I travel. The ruggedness is just what I needed and the large 500gb drive even lets me bring copies of my other photos and videos with me on my trips so I can compare/reminisce while traveling!

I have had this product since Feb 2018 and already it doesn't work properly!!!! I have tried to make contact with the company on several occasions to discuss warranty, but not received a response.

I bought Transcend StoreJet 1 TB to keep my movie collection. In my opinion this portable hard drive is one of the best on the market! It is small in size but comes with 1 TB of memory of which 931 GB are free, enough to fit more than 168 hours of 1080p HD video.

The device seems to function properly. However the cable fitting is loose and the cable falls out easily... falls out not pulls out. In addition I was not able to register the warranty online as per manufacturer instructions as their site did not recognize the Serial Number.

I have purchased a transcend StoreJet Hard Disk and its is excellent. I can't believe it when i saw its data transfer rate of more than 40 MBps. Its incredible. I will suggest every buyer to go for it.
