Purchased in Nov of 2014, the 128GB version - Transcend 128GB SATA III MTS800 . It is now 3 years later and my PC still boots in under 8 seconds. One recommendation is to remove the sticker on the memory chips. These drives get hot, I read where depending on the heat conditions and usage they suggest a heat sink but I don't have those issues so I just removed the sticker and there is a fan blowing on it.

Good Mixed Workload Performance In This Price Class; No Loss In Performance With Incompressible Data; Minimal Performance Drop Off as Drive Fills; Outstanding Read Speeds; Excellent 4K Performance; Nice Included Software Suite With Cloning Software; Outstanding Performance at Higher Queue Depths,...

Recently, M.2 SSD's have been released to the market. M.2 is designed to replace the order mSATA standard and offer higher speeds. The drives are available in two versions, SATA and PCIe. We have been seeing more M.2 SSDs lately, a lot of which are companies' first steps into the market since the form factor is so new. They have been designed to meet strict size requirements and allow for greater flexibility in product development.
