The Satellite series from Toshiba has been an eye catcher ever since its inception. The Toshiba Satellite C850-P5010 Laptop is a well-engineered machine that caters to your variety of needs. The Pentium Dual Core (2nd generation) processor performs at a fast pace and has good efficiency.
Pros:
- Reasonable price
- excellent touch pad and great battery life
Cons:
- Average Performance and key board touch experience is not smooth as compared to other laptops

"I bought a new toshiba satellites laptops for my wife. battery doesn't charge fully. Customer service is useless.Toshiba had the worst customer service ever.Do Not Buy any Toshiba Laptop.........

Poor Quality
We bought this despite the bad comment as have had toshiba before, this laptops dvd writer sticks out as is not built properly the keyboard has a big bubble in the middle so cannot type, [...

This product is terrible!
I bought this product 2 months ago and I have now consigned it to the "use only if in trouble" shelf. It is without doubt one of the worst purchases I have ever made. It is slow, poorly put together and generally a DOG!

I have already reviewed my wonderful Acer Laptop, which is suffering from a premature, untimely illness - needing parts replacing.. at first I assumed the problem was terminal and starting looking into a replacement, but now I am extremely pleased that I have only popped it to the back of a cupboard...

Defective laptop
Received this laptop today, noticed immediately that keyboard was defective as letter 'Q' appeared when key 'A' was pressed followed by letter 'A'. Soon became worse as a string of Q's appeared when 'A ' was pressed. Have had to return laptop, very poor quality control on the part of Toshiba.

Toshiba Satellite C850/02D
By itself, Toshiba's Satellite C850/02D does OK; however, AU$100 more will get you better battery life, build quality and gigabit Ethernet from its competitors.
Pros:
- LG-supplied screen a little more vibrant than AUO supplied equivalents
Cons:
- 100Mbps Ethernet
- Low battery life
- Flexing keyboard

Toshiba Satellite Pro C850-10N: A well priced model for somebody with average computer needs ...
We recently bought this model of the Satellite for my dad who is not a great user of computers, but needs something functional, reasonably compact and stylish that will stand the test of time. With the exception of the last point, this model is proving to tick all the boxes.

Good Choice
finally i got this from flipkart, it is a best laptop around 20 thousand, thanks to flipkart. I suggest this lap to who want to work in home purpose. Pros: Very good Fast Intel Processor 2GB Ram HD Movie Playback is excellent 15" Monitor gives Rock when viewing HD Movies keyboard style is fentastic...
