Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Sam Fisher is back, and after emerging from the development shadows, it's clear that the long wait has been well worth it. While not everyone, particularly longtime fans of the Splinter Cell series, may have always agreed with the direction in which the more recent entries have headed (Splinter...

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist (Xbox 360) Review

While Conviction was a good game, Blacklist is even better. It strikes a good balance of old-style Splinter Cell games but making the game modern for today's audiences. There are a few quirky bits but this game largely hits all the high notes and was an enjoyable time through and through.

Best of both playstyles

After the disappointing "conviction", Sam Fisher is back to what he does best. Stealth. The game offers you the option to play through the game however you choose, with three styles of play. Panther (silent but lethal), Ghost (silent and non-lethal) and Assault (does what it says on the tin).

Challenging; Easy To Learn; Gameplay; Graphics; Multiplayer

Ubisoft brings back Sam Fisher for another tour of duty

The Splinter Cell games have been taking players on Jason Bourne-esque adventures for just over ten years, and now the series returns with Blacklist. Unlike 2010's Conviction, which was exclusive to Xbox 360, Blacklist is also available on PlayStation 3 and Wii U, returning series protagonist Sam...

Well paced third person tactical adventure; Good balance between sneaking and action gameplay

Storyline is somewhat convoluted at times; Environments can feel a bit samey

Splinter Cell Blacklist Review

Thank you, Ubisoft. Before getting into the pros and cons of Sam Fisher's latest outing, it's only fitting to open a Splinter Cell Blacklist review with gratitude. Sam Fisher is back, and I couldn't be happier.

he is back

Love this game, reminds a lot of my favorite one in the series which was Chaos Theory. Great single player campaign that you can play again and again. But the multiplayer is where it's at, Spies vs Mercs nuff said. My only complaint is that I wish there was more multiplayer maps.

Very Hard Stealth Action

Excellent graphics and gameplay. I love this type of FPS because you can play any way you want, quiet, clean, and tidy, or loud and guns blazing! The technology available makes you feel like you're on a real covert mission. Silence and forethought are your best weapons.

Challenging; Good Audio; Graphics; Realistic

Almost Too Hard

Choices

This is the first Splinter Cell game I have played and am very much impressed by it. What I like the most is that it's up to you how you want to play it - you can sneak past the enemies, distract them and take them down with non-lethal hand-to-hand moves, or just unleash hell and shoot them all.
