Good lens, only one problem

Nice lens, good light and good quality. Just one problem, and it really stupid, I dont understand how the miss it. The lens cap has nothing to attach to the lens rather than a very soft magnetic, nos swithm neither a slot for a grip. You have to be care because it will fell down easily

Fishy Smishy...

Not a bad lens but not as good as new canon 8-15mm. Built nicely and performed well while i had it. I had no major issues with it, id recoment it for any intermediate photographers with an aps-c cam. Definately afordable and reliable.

Consistent Output; Durable

Slow Focus

Pretty good

I use this lens quite a lot and it is mostly a good performer. Focus is always spot on. Build quality is up to the usual Tokina standards (there doesn't seem much plastic in it but I can't say if my assumption is correct).

Great Lens, get one while you can!!

I use this product for shooting surf. I use it in a water housing, and the results have been brilliant. Image quality is excellent. The only thing is that it doesn't perform just as well in very poor light conditions, but who wants to shoot then anyway!?

Consistent Output; Durable; Easily Interchangeable; Quick Focus; Rugged; Sharp Focus; Strong Construction

REVIEW: Tokina AT-X DX 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 Fisheye

Tokina, like Nikon, use the DX prefix for lenses designed purely for APS-C sized or ‘cropped' sensors. With a field of view of 180° at the wide end on these sensors, we take a look at how this lens performs.

Good construction and neat finish; Compact; Wide coverage of 180-100° on APS-C

Restricted usefulness; Inability to attach filters; No manual over-ride of AF

Tokina AT-X 107 AF DX Fish-Eye 10-17mm F/3.5-4.5

A unique fisheye zoom lens for Canon and Nikon APS-C SLRs that gives a 180 degree field of view corner to corner at 10mm.

Unique lens; Compact size; Good flare and ghosting performance; Build Quality

Chromatic Aberrations at 10mm; Focus ring rotates during AF; No built-in focus motor on Nikon version

Tokina AF 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 AT-X DX Fisheye - Review / Test Report

Traditionally fisheyes are often used for aerial-, underwater- and some kind of indoor photography. Due to the uncorrected extreme field-of-view the fisheye perspective can produce some oooohs and aaahs from your audience but it shouldn´t be used too often in presentations because the effect of...

Nice one for fun!

Using this lens, I have found so many interesting things I've never seen before; Nice to use it on Full Frame Cameras; Macro Fisheye Yes! it is something new for me

No cons! Maybe; fixed aperture could better this lens
