TicWatch Pro 3 review

★★★★★ 5.0
Verdict: At £290 the TicWatch isn’t the cheapest smartwatch out there (the previously mentioned Fitbit Versa 3 is £90 cheaper), but it offers the complete Android smartwatch package with a solid design, superb screen, powerful performance, and tonnes of functionality to boot. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 — a formidable watch in its own right — can be yours from a tenner more, though you'll be tied into Samsung’s Health ecosystem. The Apple Watch 6 on the other hand starts from £379, making the TicWatch Pro 3 incredible value for money in comparison. Ultimately, this is one of the best smartwatches money can buy right now, nailing the basics in every single way without relying on any crazy quirks or gimmicks to get the job done.
Pros:
  • Superb screen
  • Powerful performance
  • Three-day battery
Cons:
  • No ECG

TicWatch Pro 3 review

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: The TicWatch Pro 3 is a quality smartwatch with three-day battery life, great speed, and a sleek design. It doesn’t particularly excel at anything, but it satisfies all your basic workout and message-previewing needs, with a standard Wear OS software setup and a few TicWatch-branded workout and health apps. It’s notably cheaper than top-tier smartwatches, so pick it up if you’re willing to forgo some features to save some cash.
Pros:
  • Big battery lasts up to 3 days before charge
  • Fast Snapdragon 4100 chipset
  • Crisp, high-resolution display
Cons:
  • Wear OS is unremarkable
  • Interface sometimes very unintuitive
  • Sleep tracking isn’t too accurate

Smartwatch Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 GPS with Snapdragon Wear 4100 Review: Dual display and a large battery ensure a better battery life

★★★★★
Verdict: The TicWatch Pro 3 GPS differentiates itself from the crowd of WearOS smartwatches with a longer bat...
The last one will be the first. With its display technology and powerful battery of an almost 600-mAh capacity, Mobvoi mainly wants to improve the weak battery life that is typical for WearOS – and it succeeds. The fact that the smartwatch uses "GPS" in its name, even though many wearables record routes at this point, is also justified: with GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS is positioned very well.

Mobvoi TicWatch 3 Pro review: Swift performance, seriously long battery life

★★★★ 4.0
The most exciting thing about the Mobvoi TicWatch 3 Pro is what’s inside. It’s the first smartwatch available with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor, hoped by many to be Wear OS’s savior with its greater power and increased efficiency, and a whopping great big battery for some serious stamina. Yes, the Snapdragon Wear 4100 is a massive improvement over the geriatric Snapdragon Wear 3100, and it really does make Wear OS more usable than ever before. However, it’s not the magic bullet that will help it kill the Apple Watch or Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 3. Let’s get into it. Mobvoi seems to have an aversion to changing the Pro-series design. The TicWatch 3 Pro is a definite improvement over the first TicWatch Pro, but it’s a shame the knurled bezel and buttons from the Pro 4G/LTE model haven’t been carried over. It’s sleeker though, and certainly not ugly. It’s just a little bland with the single black color scheme. I’m going to wear this every day, and the best wearables are an exten...
Pros:
  • Three-day battery life
  • Latest Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor
  • Fast performance
  • Always-on screen now has a backlight
Cons:
  • Wear OS still frustrates
  • No color or strap choices

TicWatch Pro 3 review: Standing out for the right reasons

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: One of the better Wear OS smartwatches you can buy in 2021. It's not perfect, but with a nice blend of Google and Mobvoi software, a zippy overall performance, improved battery life over its predecessor, and a future update to Wear OS 3 on the cards, there’s plenty to like. You'll find better sports and health tracking from similarly priced and even cheaper sports watches, but there's more good than bad here - and things could get better too.
Pros:
  • Slimmer and lighter design than predecessor
  • Snappy performance
  • Strong battery life
Cons:
  • Heart rate inaccuracies
  • Not the greatest for sports tracking
  • Wear OS 3 may not be available until 2022
