Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 850W Power Supply

There are several important aspects to building or even upgrading a computer. While things like motherboard and video card are important for performance you really can't skimp on power supply. Seriously you cannot.

80Plus Gold Rating; 2-way+ Video Card Support; 1020w Peak Power Output; Fully Modular Design; 140mm RGB Riing Fan; Flat Ribbon Cables; Storage Bag

Flat ribbon cables take longer to route; Riing fan is not software controlled

First Build Power Source

Only complaint is the built in fan. Extremely loud when I flip the switch. Haven't used it much as everything in the build maintains the case cool. *This is my first out sourced battery components so have nothing to compare to.* Bought this as recommended for its watt capacity.

Easy Installation.

Easy Installation with neutral looking cables which are subtle and is overall very quiet with consistent and reliable performance through stress tests etc. Fully modular so only plug in what you need. Comes with nice bag to hold all spare cables.

DOA...

I'd give it 0 stars if possible. First one I ordered apparently didn't work. I confirmed this after testing with an old PSU I had laying around. They just sent me a replacement and I'm having the same issue with it. It's almost like the CPU doesn't have any power going to it.
