This is a good thing - we couldn't have asked for much more than has been delivered, and I doubt Maxis could have done much more with a formula that they've improved upon time and again.

For many years, Maxis has simulated just about every single facit of life. From the smallest ant, to shaping an entire planet and just about everything in between, it has largely defined the entire 'Sim' genre.
Maxis, the mighty "King of the Sims", have created many games, starting with Sim City, they moved into more obscure games like Sim Life and Sim Earth, then they went quiet. For about three or four years they lay there, like a time bomb waiting to go off.
Well, their lazy Roman asses obviously didn't have Sim City 4 . Oh wait. Come to think of it, we're the lazy ones, sitting on our butts in front of our computers. The Romans were the ones who worked really hard building all those aqueducts.
