"stylization"

This game is very different from the common vi arty of rpgs i normally play, i think its quite interesting since you play as "God". The stylization of the game is very neat and the battle system very similar to Desgia. Overall a very well put together game with a limited budget

PS3 Review - 'The Guided Fate Paradox'

ZHP: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman was a breath of fresh air for NIS's Disgaea team. It had a similar feel to the Disgaea series but did its own thing. It was a new IP and ended up standing well on its own, possibly more so than recent Disgaea games.

Worth it!!!

Please do not listen to mainstream reviews regarding this game! The replay value is limitless, and the gameplay is tight and fast paced. Fans of RPGs and rogue likes should check this out.

An atypical roguelike that subverts expectations but still falls flat in some areas.

Unique setting; tons of replayability; earnestly attempts to be humorous

Unimpressive presentation; occasionally cringe-worthy dialogue; ho-hum audio; tedious character progression

Game's a lot harder than it seems to be.

Game's a lot harder than it seems to be. Would be 5 stars if not for all the necessary grinding

The Guided Fate Paradox PS3 Review

While I'm not a religious person, there is something fascinating behind the concept of being able to play God – the one almighty being that sits above the clouds somewhere and watches over us, listening to us and leaving us to self-destruct on the planet.

The Guided Fate Paradox (PS3) Review

As The Guided Fate Paradox begins, you are treated to perhaps one of the more ridiculous opening sequences you've seen in a while. Your character, a somewhat timid teenaged boy named Renya, is shopping for groceries and receives a complimentary lottery ticket with his purchase.

The Guided Fate Paradox review

We all know the familiar tale of Cinderella and Prince Charming. The bit about her lovely magic spell wearing off right at the stroke of midnight? Unfortunate. But what if Cinderella could've changed her fate?

Trademark NIS humor; Addictive nature to randomized dungeon crawling; Deep customization system

Far too many tutorials; Some grindy segments; Angel companions aren't very useful

I found the gameplay horribly boring and repetitive

I found the gameplay horribly boring and repetitive. I played it for one hour and just never bothered trying again. It is a good-looking game though.

Even angels have last names

Even angels have last names As Renya, a 17-year-old high school student down on his luck and just about the most unfortunate soul ever, your life is exponentially changed one day when you meet a cute girl in a maid outfit.
