Not Worth full price!

Like everyone else who ran out to get this game. I was excited to play and maybe get some scares out of it. I have played Silent Hill and Resident Evil games and I was hoping that this game would blast them out of the water. Unfortunately the graphics was a huge let down to start with.

Pure Horror !!!!!!

This game is up to the standard and quality of outlast, dead space 2 etc. It's pure survival horror so u need to keep track of things at your disposal like ammo , grenades etc. Some moments will will definitely pull "Oh Shit !" out of your mouth. This game is not for faint hearts...............

The Evil Within

"You have an odour of blood about you" chimes the nurse, but she doesn't know the half of it. I'm safe now, though, in this… place . I'm still not quite sure what to make of it yet, drawn to its whereabouts, as I was, by Debussy's Clair de lune – the Frenchman's stirring composition acting as a...

(PlayStation 4 Review) The Evil Within

The last thing Krimson City detective Sebastian Castellanos could have expected when responding to a call for backup was that he would be sucked into a new nightmare from Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.

The Evil Within Review

The Evil Within is not a game that relies on cheap jump scares. It's driven by a slow, sustained, and deeply pervasive sense of dread that sets your mind racing at every crunch of glass beneath your feet and every distant groan from an unseen enemy.

Striking atmosphere; Tense combat encourages resourcefulness; Rewarding skill progression system

Nonsensical story and forgettable characters; Autosave system has a mind of its own; A few bosses can be very frustrating

There are very few games that I anticipate with every fiber of my being and The Evil Within happens to be one of them. Since it was first teased in those two crappy vines, I kept a very close eye on this game.

Beautifully Messed Up World | Challenging

Lacks Variety of Puzzles | Texture Issues | Occassional Camera Issues

The Evil Within

Almost twenty years ago, Resident Evil released on the PlayStation and quickly became one of the most critically acclaimed horror games of all time. That franchise has become so popular that sometimes it's easy to overlook the mastermind behind the great series of games.

The Evil Within

I've been a fan of the horror genre for the majority of my life. From books and comics, to movies, video games, and board games, I'm always on the lookout for something to give me a good scare. However, I've never been a huge fan of the survival horror style of video game.

The Evil Within Review

Its undeniable how influential the Resident Evil series has been to the gaming industry, with numerous survival-horror games offering similar experiences. When players learned that the development studio behind The Evil Within , Tango Gameworks, was founded by the original creator of the Resident...

Survival horror aspects are top notch; The haunted are very challenging opponents; Ability to upgrade your character along the way

Combat system is more frustrating than fun; Castellano isn't very nimble
