So, periodically it isn't enough to be scared to death by the mountains of work in front of me and the declining prospects of any decent amount of sleep this year… not at all helped by my procrastination methods.

My favourite horror of 2017. The first Evil Within had its many flaws but Bethesda has done exceptionally well with this one. I just hope there's DLC for it in future.

The hour is late. Alone in the dark, your palms are sweaty and you squirm uncomfortably in your seat. Your pulse thunders through that vein in the side of your head, and you're pretty sure some abomination is waiting in the shadows.

On paper, I was a little bit worried about The Evil Within 2. It was announced and revealed a mere four months prior to it's release. Shinji Mikami was involved but was no longer the director. Nobody really played much of it prior to release. It all felt like a bit of a rushed project.

I bought this as preorder and got extras. I loved The original evil within but man this is better.
