Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Review

Skyrim? It's an odd name with which we've been grappling for a while – the game tends to settle on ‘Sky-rm' as its pronunciation. It's an area in north Tamriel, where Nords live in frozen highlands, oppressed by the same Empire you spent all that time preserving in Oblivion some 200 game-years...

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the best open world first person role playing game that Bethesda has ever created and everyone who had fun with Oblivion, Morrowind or the Fallout series should pick it up and play through it at least two times (for story reasons) using two very different builds to get...

Huge game world; Character development system; Improved combat; Solid quests; Immersive experiences

Main story is a little formulaic; Some glitches

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Reviewed (360, PS3, PC)

When asked at the announcement of the next in The Elder Scrolls Series ‘Are you excited?' my exact reply was ‘Does a bear do his, you know, business in the woods? The 5th in the line of games from Bethesda, produced over a period of time spanning more than 20 years, has immediately convinced me that...

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Review

Skyrim is torn by civil war: A weakened Empire struggles to retain control of the province, while rebel Nords vie for self-determination. Dragons have returned after centuries, and nobody knows why. Undead infest the crypts, cairns, and barrows, and more dangerous things haunt deep Dwarven ruins.

Vast, content-filled world; hundreds of hours of stuff to do; good leveling system, fun combat, compelling story

Occasionally buggy; not the most graphically intense game ever

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PC)

While I was taking a stroll outside on a hot sunny day, a flash of a shadow raced over the ground in front of me. With horror on my face I jumped around scanning the skies for what could only mean my imminent death.

The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

After drooling over the collector's edition strategy guide, I open up my copy of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and dive into it headfirst. I quickly learn in the beginning of the game that I'm a prisoner that's been sentenced to death and before being executed, an exciting and terrifying scene takes...

Excellent game! Best PC game ever!

Very good game! I get 35-50 FPS on Medium graphics settings. Loads extremely quick. My setup: Phenom X4 2.6GHZ 4GB DDR2 RAM 9800 GT 1GB 350w PSU 1920x1080 resolution 640 GB HDD

Excellent gameplay; fast loading on good PCs; mods available; most DLC available a month after Xbox; endless gameplay; good storylines

Some plots become repetitive; too many caves

11/10 Rating, this game is AMAZING!!!

My dad bought me this game for Christmas and I tried it out, and boy I'm glad I did. The only problem is that I have to turn up my volume a lot so I can hear it, and I have to play with the charger port in.
