Ask a gamer what this generation's best comic book videogame is, and they will most likely respond with either Batman: Arkham Asylum or Arkham City . Indeed, no rational person would debate that Rocksteady's duo of Batman titles make up the definitive comic book to videogame console adaptation.
It's been a long time, five years in fact, since the Starbreeze Studios and 2K Games' The Darkness hit the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It was a quirky little title that had its fair share of issues but was generally well praised by the press and community.
A great game well worth your time and money.

a few bugs that need patching
I believed that "The Darkness II" is a great deal to buy it's really a quality product. I purchased this product few days back and I really appreciate the graphics quality. I compared "The Darkness II" with other games that I have already used; this game is so effectively designed and very...

My experience with the product is great. No issue til now
This game is fun gory action, but kinda short and dull multiplayer but otherwise awesome.
A dark, violent comic book given light and heart. a ripping yarn that tears along as fast as you can tear through bodies.
The comic book style violence of The Darkness II doesn't merely shock, but delivers a sense of empowerment. Series protagonist Jackie Estacado rampages through his enemies, ripping them limb from limb in a bloody dance.
It seems more than a little foolish to complain that the sequel to a game about a Mafia hitman with demonic powers is a little too outlandish and excessive, but The Darkness II sure is a roaring, inelegant storm of sound and fury. Not in an entirely unwelcome way, however.
Horrible game. The executions take so..... long to pull off! They are cool for the first 10 minutes, but after the 100th time you rip someones ass from their back it gets very very very old. Horrible controls on gamepad for pc. Blurry, shaky, hard to aim.
