The Crew has divided critics, and I really think it's because people don't know how to take it. I've waited for this game for almost a year just wondering what a massively multiplayer online arcade racer would be like.
Imagine an open world racing game with a huge map of the mainland USA that allows you to tune and customise every major aspect of your car. On paper, this idea sounds brilliant. Add to that [...]
Huge Map; Racing and Skills Variety; Car Customisation; OST
Car Handling; Environmental Rigidity; Opponent; Cop and Traffic AI; Collectible Cutscenes; Always Online
This game has to be played online...We don't have Internet so unable to play it. It does not state that you need Internet connection in the advertisement!
Not sure why this game has gotten so much hate. Sure, it's not the most realistic racing game out there, but in my opinion, the controls in a lot of those games are very difficult and annoying for the average gamer.
The Crew is a vast, expansive driving game that packs a solid story mode and tons of things to do. However, much of its endgame content feels like repetitive filler. 3.5 /5
A good game and storyline, but the only thing is that it has to have better graphics, because I was shocked with the ones I found, I expected it to be like forza horizon graphics but it was not, also I would say the cars are still too expensive
Last night I played one of the most tense games of my life. We're talking real edge of the seat stuff here. My heart was racing, game pad was sweaty and I needed a lie down afterwards. "Good God man, what were you doing?" I hear you ask. Well, I was driving from New York to Miami. "Ah, I see.
The Crew presents an ambitious vision of an online racing ‘CaRPG’, but is severely let down by its other design decisions, writes James Cullinane.
A beautiful world; Endgame isn't without its joys
Grinding; Microtransactions; Traffic AI is appalling
