Has Tekken always been this funny? We've been signed-up combatants in the King of Iron Fist tournament since it burst onto the PSone in all its geometric glory back in 1995, and it's always been a fantastical and spectacular series.

I wanted a fighter that wouldn't be re-released 2-3 times down the road. Namco does a good job with their fighters the first time and all of the DLC characters will be free over time and balancing will be done via updates.

Best competitive Tekken to date - Most complete character list to date - Just a whole lot of fun if you're a Tekken fan - Fight Lab is pretty hysterical - Tag and solo fighting - up to 4 players at a time - tag ins and outs yelling at your friends is awesome

- Online pass - Xbox D-Pad control (get the silver controller or just stick with it) - No single player mode a la Tekken Force mode

I could name it Tekken tag tournament 2: the Tekken 6 expanded experience. It's still a great game, worth playable and payable, you won't find a great new thing but if you like the series you'll hardly regret it

While it may seem late to the party after the release of its other console counterparts, Tekken: Tag Tournament 2 is no less of a fighting game juggernaut on the new Wii U system this year.

It's hard to believe it's been 12 years since the original Tekken Tag Tournament. It seems like only yesterday when my mother and I went to EB as quickly as possible on the PS2's launch and picked this game up alongside the system.

In the music industry, the "Greatest Hits" album has been a staple for every major band. Even when there aren't enough hits to fill a disc, that's not going to stop a record label from trying.

For one, there isn't anything here other than the core fighting – no bowling, volleyball, or even a game of Galaga to pass the time. Thankfully, that fighting core has been improved tremendously. There are a ton of double team attacks and the pace is the fastest yet for a Tekken game.

The Tag series returns with a boatload of content. Can it hold up to other recent greats?

Most likely the best fighting game you'll play this year, if you're into the genre. If you haven't been a fan of previous Tekken games, at least rent this one and give it a try.
