I never played the first tekken tag much but this one is awesome with the variety of characters and stages plus the ability to involve 4 friends playing at once, forming our own teams and such. pretty nice!

50+ Characters, ALL DLC will be free unlike Capcom; The founder of Tekken said he would rather retire than charge for DLC, Awesome Tag Assault Combos, Extremely fun 4 player mode with friends, Way more stages, ability to set your own custom music for the stages, better online mode

was unable to do practice mode co-op with a friend as we tried to practice our tag combos (maybe i missed it?) At first i was going to say lack of costumes but noticed that quite a few of them get unlocked by playing Ghost Mode

One of the best installments in the series

I've been playing Tekken since I was 5 years old (19 now). I've loved every installment up until the mediocre Tekken 6 was released. After being disappointed by Tekken 6, I pretty much gave up on Tekken. However, Namco has addressed all the issues from the last installment and improved everything.
