I had to buy it as my old unit had worn out. The keypad malfunctions with alarming regularity, with missed numbers and relocation of part of the entry to another cell. One must keep constant watch over entries or the errors to be corrected will be overwhelming.

The quality of product is very good but it does not work with Macbook.

My wife is a cpa and she uses the numeric keypad daily because she needs to input hundreds of data.
