Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 review

The most affordable macro option available at around this focal length, the Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 and its previous incarnations have long enjoyed popularity as a budget third-party alternative to the bigger brands.

Excellent service

Throughout the whole process of ordering this lens and waiting for arrival I was kept up to date about progress. I received very friendly and excellent customer service and the price was very competitive. I am happy to recommend this company and will shop here again.

Great macro lens at good price point

I was looking for a macro lens and planning for Canon 100mm Macro lens but that was going out of my budget so I started surfing multiple photography websites to find any other macro lens, comparable to Canon 100mm macro but with lower price tag.

Tamron SP AF 90mm F/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 Model 272E Lens

Since 1979, Tamron has produced 90mm macro lenses whose optical quality has rivaled the extraordinary Micro-Nikkors. Some photographers claim to have preferred the Tamron over the Nikkor because of its superior handling of out-of-focus areas ("Bokeh").

Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro Review

As Tamron's macro has a focal length of 90mm rather than 100mm or 105mm, the lens has to be slightly closer than would otherwise be the case to record a true macro (1:1) image.

Great value for money

Wide-open non-macro MTF is poor

I love this lens. It does everything I need it to do and never gets in my way. The lens has all the features I need and offers flawless handling. The optical performance leaves nothing to be desired.

"Ett Ess i rockärmen"

Bra pris på en Underbar glugg som levererar perfekta bilder i sitt register! Om du ska köpa en Canon eller Nikonglugg med denna ljusstyrka då får du hosta upp Stora slantar. Men då Canon tecknar lite sneda linjer så kan jag varmt rekommendera denna glugg!

+Ljussyrkan; ++Manuell bländarring; Underbart; +Raka linjer; +Macro; +Poträtt; +Snabb fokus; +Hållbar fattning; +Underbara linser

--STORT MINUS--HÖGLJUD FOKUSERING; Om man ska fota i känsliga miljöer är denna glugg helkass med tanke på den högljudda fokuseringen; -Om jag ska vara petig så väger denna lite väl mkt:; -Ger ett plastigt utseende; och känns även plastig på kameran; men den levererar absolut Inte plastighet i

sharp macro

This is a good budget macro for all around work with plants, flowers, and insects. The MFD is pretty long, but not quite like the S 100mm macro lens. If you're on a budget this is a good choice. My only gripe is the lens could be sharper (like the S100mm) and the AF speed is quite slow.

Price Sharp F/2.8 aperture

Slow AF Speed
