Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 Lens Review – 015
Ask any professional photographer what goes into the making of a great image and you may be surprised by their reply. Things like composition, framing, good technique, great light, bold colour and strong subject matter are all important.
Pros:
- Cons
- Not as solid as the top pro models, screw driven auto-focus with rotating front focus ring

Tamron SP AF 28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di LD ASPH (IF) Lens Review
Tamron SP AF 28-75mm XR Di LD ASPH (IF) is probably one of the longest lens names I have encountered so far. Tamron, which released the lens back in 2006, in general is known for coming up with very long (and not so descriptive) names (obviously, this should not bother anyone as long as the lens...

To begin I will give a list of all the Tamron abbreviations for better understanding: AF : Autofocus AD : Anomalous Dispersion. Special optical glass design that reduces chromatic aberration by reducing the amount of "undesirable" light wavelength passage through the lens.

Great pro quality lens
These lens are great, and not just for the price. They are well constructed, feel nicely weighed in the hand, and not plasticky. They are reasonably heavy, but I see it as an asset, since it makes it easier to hold the camera steady. The output has been consistently sharp photos.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Durable
- Sharp Focus
Cons:
- Slow Focus

Tamron AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di LD Lens Review
The Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di Lens is a relatively small normal zoom lens that delivers good image quality and a wide fixed f/2.8 aperture for a low cost . Well worth the money
I use this lens for portraits, events, and low-light shots. The fact that it is so small and light-weight is a definite bonus. The constant f2.8 really pays off in low light situations. Compared to the big, heavy Nikon, I really prefer this lens.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Lightweight
- Sharp Focus
Cons:
- Slow Focus
- Weak Casing
