Bought Used, still great.
I bought this lens used from someone on here. He mentioned the dial was stiff and it is. It's not so bad but I have to get used to gripping it instead of just zooming with one finger. I don't know if that is normal for a new one or not.

A standard zoom for APS-C, this is a direct competitor to Canon's 17-55mm f/2.8 lens...
Pros:
- Effective four-stop stabiliser
- f/2.8 constant aperture
Cons:
- Noisy autofocus
- Middling sharpness at edges
